Up for sale Is a premium, original Selmer mark vi tenor sax from one of our favorite era’s! The 150xxx’s tend to be very medium balanced with great response and lots of pop to the sound! Not overly dark or spread. Very similar to the early 100xx. Really versatile and great players for all styles. This ones In great shape with 90% of Its original laq. And hasn’t seen the past damage that some of these horns have experienced. The pads are In great shape but when the horn was overhauled previously, they used rivot resonators Instead of the medium, domed resonators used more commonly. We were gonna change the pads to more correct resonators but It’s playing so great as-Is so we’ve left them and priced It accordingly. Ive attached a sound demo so you can hear for yourself. The neck is original has had a corrected slight pulldown and the bottom bow has had some dent work but no past major repairs and this horn shows beautifuly with almost all of It’s original laq. Comes with original Selmer case with purple velvet Interior In great shape also. Really a great horn all the way around!
