Original and has about 60% of the original laq remaining. This is a players horn but is an exceptional playing vi. The bottom now has had some dents removed and there is a resolder but nothing major. These late model horns are most sought after for their projection and great intonation throughout the register. This has the look of those horns that are well loved and have the sound to match! This can be had for a reasonable price so if you don’t mind a little playing wear- this is a killer horn to consider!
